• Applicants must have completed or passed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 75% in relevant field from a recognised Board / University.

General Instructions to the Applicants

• Candidates must only apply via online mode through the official website https://icandsr.iitm.ac.in/recruitment/.
• Project Technician (Mechanical) post is on Contractual Basis only. 
• Duration: Twelve (12) months, which can be extended further based on the performance of the candidates.
• Co-ordinator: Prof. Balaji Srinivasan, Dept of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras.
• Applicants must have a basic knowledge on sheet metal fabrication and a good knowledge on Design. Candidates having Working knowledge in Solid works / Inventor / Fusion 360 / NX / CATIA, will be highly preferred. 
• Industry experience will be an added advantage.
